A suspended composition of color, light, and reflection. This handmade dichroic glass strand transforms direct sunlight into a shifting display of iridescent color, bringing movement and brilliance to a sunlit space.
Approximately nine individually cut glass forms are arranged along a five-foot strand, each with its own shape, color, and reflective qualities. Featuring a full spectrum of colors, the dichroic glass shifts in appearance as light and viewing angles change, creating an evolving interplay of tones throughout the day.
Fine metal chain accents in your choice of brass or silver-tone finish complete the composition, allowing the glass to remain the focus.
Hang in a tall window, studio, or other space where direct sunlight can reach the glass. The piece comes alive with light, creating an ever-changing display of color and reflection.
Each strand is individually handcrafted, with every glass element cut by hand. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike.

This handcrafted dichroic glass piece transforms direct sunlight into shifting color and layered prisms. As light passes through each element, it casts vivid reflections that move across surrounding surfaces, changing throughout the day.
A central faceted glass crystal intensifies the effect, scattering light into a second field of movement and depth while the vertical cascade allows light to pass through multiple layers at once—producing both bold color and subtle tonal blends.
Dichroic glass, originally developed for optical applications, shifts with light and angle rather than holding a fixed color and will not fade over time.
Each element is hand-cut, finished, and assembled into a balanced composition. Every piece is handmade and unique; while future versions follow a similar structure, no two are identical.
